Haulani Leal, 72, of Hilo died Dec. 15, 2012, at her residence. Born July 4, 1940, in Honolulu, she was a horticulturist.
Private services were held.
She is survived by daughters, RosaLei Quinting Roselani Quinting, both of Hilo; mother, Rose Swegler of Kaneohe, Oahu; sisters, Delle (Mark) Nadler of Akron, Ohio, Moana (Alan) Luka of Medford, Ore.; brothers, Mark Swegler of Kaneohe, Oahu, Morton Leal of Guam; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
